Christine has a degree in Politics from Warwick University. After her successful career as an army officer she became the Chief Executive of the Shropshire Youth Association and then the Executive Director of the British Tennis Coaches’ Association.
She has spent time living and working in the West Midlands – her home is in rural Shropshire. She has lived in Coventry & Birmingham and worked in Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton & Staffordshire as well as London.
Christine was married to a Naval Officer but is widowed and has no children.
She is now a freelance tennis coach, deciding to become self-employed to allow her to concentrate on her other passion in life – politics. As such she is ideally placed to give her energy and commitment to Shrewsbury in particular and to the wider West Midlands.
